FILE PREPARATION GUIDELINES
All final print-ready graphic files should be flattened to a single layer and built at 150 DPI (Dots Per Inch) in CMYK mode, with all guidelines and template layers removed.
The maximum file size per graphic file is 350 MB. Files exceeding this limit will not be accepted. If your graphic file is too large, please refer to our Artwork Compression guide for instructions on compressing it to an acceptable size.
For Pantone color matching services, elements in your file must be created with the specified Pantone color. Provide the Pantone color number(s) upon uploading your artwork to ensure accurate color matching. We limit color matching to two (2) color call-outs—refer to the section below for Pantone color match requirements.
FILE PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
It is advisable to embed all images and outline all text to ensure nothing drops out or changes during file transfer.
Our preferred file type is an 8-bit flattened .tiff file at 150 DPI in CMYK mode, built to the dimensions of the product’s respective template.
Avoid including any bleeds in your layout, particularly for graphics designed in Adobe Illustrator.
Design your artwork to the “Overall Graphic Layout Size” of the template, keeping essential text and logos in the safe viewable areas. Proofs are generated from the submitted artwork, and it’s crucial to avoid surprises like unintentional wrapping to the back.
PANTONE COLOR MATCHING POLICIES
For an accurate color match, your artwork should be properly built with Pantone colors in the desired areas. We match only 100% solid Pantone colors from the Pantone FORMULA GUIDE Solid-Coated (details below). Gradient, image-based, or percentage Pantone color matching is not supported.
If you request a Pantone match without the correct Pantone colors in your artwork, we may ask you to waive matching or request corrected artwork with the appropriate Pantone colors.
